Can you see deleted events on Wyze? ›

Short answer: You can't

But you could try some random programs that might be able to extract the data if it wasn't overwritten yet.

If you have cloud storage, you can make a request to check for backups you can restore. But for memory cards, it is better to try third-party data recovery programs like Disk Drill to get back your deleted photos and videos. It is reliable and easy to use, so you can easily undelete your Wyze cam photos and videos.

They Auto-Delete after 14 days anyway. Wyze constantly reminds everyone about the cost of storing and processing videos.

When you return the microSD card to your Wyze Cam, it will resume continuous recording. The camera supports up to a 256 GB microSD card, which holds roughly 2-3 weeks of playback recording.

See deleted events in your trash (computer only)

When you go to the trash, you can restore events or delete them forever. Important: Anyone who has "Make changes to events" or "Make changes AND manage sharing" permission for the calendar can delete events and see and restore events from that calendar's trash.

You can quickly view and filter your recorded videos, or Events, from the Events tab in the Wyze app. 🎥 The Events tab is timeline of all event videos recorded by your Wyze Cam devices, including cameras and doorbells. You can view, sort, download and delete Events from this tab.

You can restore recently deleted photos and videos that are still in your trash. Items that are permanently deleted can't be restored. Backed up photos and videos stay in your trash for 60 days. Photos and videos that weren't backed up stay in your trash for 30 days.

Step 1: Open the Gallery or Photos app on your Android device. Step 2: Look for the Recently Deleted or Recycle bin folder within the app. Step 3: Select the photos/videos that you would like to restore by clicking them. Step 4: Once selected, find the Restore or Recover option.

All Cam Plus (and Cam Protect) Recorded Video Events are kept for 14 days in cloud storage and can be accessed from the convenience of a mobile device. Camera videos are transferred under a secure channel from device to Wyze Cloud (ingestion) and from Wyze Cloud to phone (digestion). Wyze employees do not have the ability to view a user's camera's live feed.

Once you scroll to the bottom of a listing of events and select all for deletion, then hit delete all, the user interface does not update the screen to show they are removed. If you just go back to the previous day event listing, then reselect the current date, the events have in fact been deleted as you had requested.
